Centroid CNC 2026 July Newsletter
In case you missed it, we published the July Newsletter on the 7th of July.
This month's Newsletter highlights the release of CNC12 v5.42! This update brings a wide range of bug fixes, API enhancements, user interface improvements, and new features designed to improve machine performance, reliability, and the overall user experience.
Some of the highlights include:
- Improved MPG and WMPG jogging performance, resolving jerky movement, oscillation, and boundary issues.
- New Tool Check Graph Menu for 3D-RTG users (requires the v5.40 License Upgrade).
- Expanded API functionality, including new build revision properties, report generation, improved messaging support, and additional outbound pipe features.
- Numerous fixes for 3D-RTG, graphing, tool offsets, random access tool changers, and lathe functionality.
- New GUI customization options, including additional color definitions, the new default Centroid 2026 color scheme, and an enabled-by-default Color Picker.
- Improved Ether1616 communication reporting and more accurate system variable reporting.
- Added the ability to retain the last known reference point after a machine becomes unhomed.
- New P322 parameter for controlling absolute encoder movement warnings.
- PLC Detective now includes search functionality within the Watch tab.
- Numerous wizard, installation, homing, and usability fixes throughout CNC12.
With dozens of fixes and enhancements across the software, CNC12 v5.42 is a recommended update for users looking for improved stability, expanded API capabilities, and an even smoother machining experience.
