Today we're looking at Uwe Mattern's AcornSix powered 4-Axis Lathe using Position Correction with an RS422 AIKRON Slim Linear 1µ Encoder Scale. Uwe has built an impressive fully closed loop Lathe using the Centroid AcornSix Controller. The RS422 AIKRON 1µ scale needs only a pinout adjustment to be compatible with CNC12, configure your scales using the CNC12 Wizard and fine tune using the CNC12 Scales menu by adjusting dead band and velocity!
