6 feet seems pretty short for a large mill. So you are saying from the spindle back to the AcornSix?
The 6 foot bulkhead cable is meant for Console and Cabinet style installs, the bulkhead cable comes 'flying-lead' at one end to connect to the desired/defined input for your probe, based on your Wizard or PLC settings. The 6 feet is to get you out of the Console or Cabinet and then you would connect the bulkhead connector end to a probe with a bulkhead connector cable. If you need more distance than the 6 foot offered by the bulkhead cable and whatever length of cable came with your probe, you would need to create a proper extension cable.
